April Currently

Linking up with Farley for her April Currently!

1. I love how open she was during her surgeries and how charismatic the whole anchor team is.  I won't watch any weather but Sam Champion weather!

2. and 3. I do have a to-do list, but it's a FUN to-do list, including shopping, going to the library, and seeing a show on B'way with my best friend.

4. More so I can call my mom and have her stop worrying.  It will be fine.

5. I had a brainstorm on Thursday as I was cleaning up my room to leave and scribbled an outline on a post-it.  I will have to find said post-it and put that unit together.

6. Not everything you hear or perceive people say negatively is meant in a negative way.  That person may be having a bad day.  There are plenty of reasons to perceive a negative reaction that has nothing to do with you.  (I struggle with this a lot.)

Off to start my FUN to-do list. Oh, and PSA- LOFT is 50% off today!

  2. Hi Maria!
I found you through Farley's linky party. I have to work on not taking things personally too. I think most teachers have a people pleaser personality so we all take things more personal than we should. I pinned your post so hopefully it will send some traffic your way. http://pinterest.com/pin/147985537728032562/
    Have a great week!

  3. Your post-it comment reminds me that I need to leave some post-its next to my bed! I woke up the other night at around 3 o'clock and had a great idea for a unit..... do you think I remembered when I woke up?? ummm. no, of course not! I should have written it down.

Anyway, I found you through Farley's Currently and I am your newest follower!

  4. Your advice is like my mantra. I have to tell myself that ALL that time! Have you ever heard of the book, "The Four Agreements?"

I hear you on the to-do list! I finally organized my den desk today but it has been difficult to work on everything with my two little ones home. At least I get to spend some quality time with them though:) They are napping...I think it is my turn!

  5. I'm constantly writing down ideas and then have to track them down later! I try to keep them in a notebook now, but somehow I ended up starting 2 different ones so they are still spread out. :)

  7. What would we do without post-its? Hope everything turns out fine with the doctor and your mother can stop worrying. Enjoy that Broadway show!
